Role
Aldama is a rotation big for Dallas, a 7-footer who stretches the floor from the frontcourt. His shooting gives the Mavericks lineup flexibility behind the starters. He is the kind of floor-spacing big modern benches are built around.
How he got here
Utah drafted Aldama 30th overall in 2021 out of Loyola (MD). Dallas acquired him via trade in the 2026 offseason, adding frontcourt shooting to the rotation.
