Role
Merrill is Cleveland's designated shooter off the bench. He averaged 12.8 points last season while hitting 42.1 percent from three, spacing the floor for the stars. His gravity alone bends defenses, even on nights the shots do not fall.
How he got here
New Orleans drafted Merrill 60th overall in 2020 out of Utah State. He is in his sixth NBA season, now a key Cavaliers reserve.
