Role
DiVincenzo is Minnesota's starting point guard on paper, but he tore his right Achilles in the 2026 playoffs and is out for the season. A career 38 percent three-point shooter, he spaces the floor for Edwards and Gobert, defends both guard spots and rarely turns it over. The Wolves will have to replace his two-way production from the guard rotation.
How he got here
Minnesota acquired DiVincenzo from the Knicks in the October 2024 Karl-Anthony Towns trade. He was drafted 17th overall by Milwaukee in 2018 out of Villanova.
