Role
Johnson is a deep-bench guard for New Orleans, a long, skinny playmaker the Pelicans paid two seconds to get. He is still unproven but the front office likes him. His rookie-scale years are about development.
How he got here
Milwaukee drafted Johnson 23rd overall in 2024 out of Illawarra (Australia). New Orleans acquired him via trade in the 2026 offseason.
