Fantasy football war room with a glowing lineup board, stat sheets and a laptop

Draft day is a memory. Leagues are won in October, on the wire, by the managers who move first when a starter goes down or a backup takes a job. I am Kingston O'Neal, and this page is mine now. Every week: the adds that matter, the stat lines the big outlets are not leading with, the bye weeks sneaking up on your lineup and the streamers who save a Sunday. Real numbers only. No projections dressed up as facts, and no safe picks. This refresh is dated Sunday, October 25, 2026, with Week 7 already underway: Thursday is done, Paris kicked off this morning, and the rest of today's games are still there to win.

Trade Impact: DeForest Buckner Back to San Francisco

October 27 update. The Colts traded three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers for a 2027 fourth-round pick. Buckner has 31 tackles and four sacks through seven games, and he joins a 6-1 San Francisco team that needed help on a banged up defensive line.

Start: The 49ers defense rises with Buckner's interior pressure. Grab the unit where it is available and stream your skill players against a Colts defense that just lost its best player.

Watch: Jonathan Taylor. Indianapolis traded its Pro Bowl guard and its Pro Bowl defensive tackle on the same day. Hold Taylor, but know the fire sale may not be done.

Trade Impact: Quenton Nelson to Seattle

October 27 update. The Colts traded eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to Seattle for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick. Nelson has not allowed a sack this season, and Seattle bought him to fix a run game that ranked near the bottom of the league in efficiency.

Start: Emanuel Wilson moves to RB2 territory behind Nelson after running 24 times for 100 yards and a touchdown against Kansas City. Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba both rise with better protection.

Caution: Jonathan Taylor loses his best blocker if he stays in Indianapolis, and Daniel Jones takes a step back with him. Listen to offers on Taylor at his current price.

Waiver Wire Watch: Week 7

Four teams sit this week (Buffalo, Jacksonville, the Los Angeles Chargers and Washington), Thursday is already in the books and Paris kicked off this morning. These are the moves for the rest of today's games and Monday night, in order.

Wire
Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Jets
6 catches on 7 targets, 103 yards and 1 TD vs New England in Week 6

Add. Returning from an ankle injury, Cooper led the Jets in targets in Week 6 and ran a route on 85 percent of dropbacks.

Read moreShow less

That is not a one-game fluke, that is a first-round rookie taking over a receiver room. Today he gets Miami at home, a team still looking for its first win. He is the top add of this refresh.

Wire
Bam Knight, RB, Cardinals
15 carries, 80 yards vs the Rams in Week 6

Add. With Jeremiyah Love out with an ankle injury, Knight outgained starter Tyler Allgeier in Week 6 and did it at better than 5 yards a carry.

Read moreShow less

Allgeier averaged just 2.1 yards a carry in the same game, so this is not a timeshare to split evenly. Today Knight gets Denver at home, and a back getting 15 carries in a winning role does not stay on waivers.

Wire
C.J. Stroud, QB, Texans
312 yards and 3 TD vs Jacksonville in Week 6

Stream. Stroud has scored at least 20 fantasy points in three straight games and he is still sitting on wires in enough leagues to check.

Read moreShow less

He has averaged 306.7 passing yards and 2 touchdowns over his last three outings. Today he hosts the Giants, and with Houston on bye next week, this is a one-week rental with a high ceiling, not a season-long marriage.

Wire
Kyler Murray, QB, Vikings
24 of 30, 229 yards and 1 TD, plus 51 rushing yards on 10 carries vs New Orleans in Week 5

Stream. Murray comes out of Minnesota's Week 6 bye with a rushing floor most streamers cannot touch.

Read moreShow less

Fifty-one rushing yards on 10 carries is a designed part of this offense, not a scramble bonus. Today he hosts Indianapolis, and the schedule after that runs through Detroit and Buffalo, so this add can carry you past one Sunday.

Wire
Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, Giants
6 carries, 18 yards and 1 TD, plus 2 catches for 27 yards and 1 TD vs New Orleans in Week 6

Add. Cam Skattebo did not record a touch in Week 6 while Tracy played 26 snaps and scored twice.

Read moreShow less

Two touchdowns on eight touches will not repeat itself, and nobody should pretend it will. But the Giants just showed you who they trust near the goal line, and today Tracy takes that role to Houston.

Wire
Keenan Allen, WR, Colts
8 catches for 82 yards on 11 targets vs Tennessee in Week 6

Add. Allen has seen at least 9 targets in three straight games, and volume is the one thing that never slumps.

Over that three-game span he is averaging 6.3 catches and 63.3 yards, which plays in PPR every single week. Indianapolis keeps leaning on him while its other pass catchers stay banged up. Today he goes to Minnesota.

Week 6 Breakouts: The Lines Nobody Led With

Week 6 is the last finished week, with Week 7 already underway. These are the stat lines from those finished games that the big companies are not promoting. Every one of them is a role signal, not a fluke.

Breakout
DeMario Douglas, WR, Patriots
7 catches on 8 targets, 86 yards and 1 TD vs the Jets in Week 6

Add. Douglas has at least 65 receiving yards and a score in consecutive games, with three touchdowns in the past two weeks.

Read moreShow less

Romeo Doubs exited early on Sunday, and even with A.J. Brown back, Douglas just earned a bigger share of this offense. The outlets led with the Patriots' win. The line that matters for your roster is this one.

Breakout
Kendre Miller, RB, Saints
20 carries, 70 yards and 2 catches vs the Giants in Week 6

Hold. Miller played a season-high 44 percent of the snaps in Week 6 and finished with a team-high 22 touches.

Read moreShow less

The matchup helped, since the Giants allow the fourth-most rushing yards per game, so do not pencil this in as a weekly line. But a back who jumps from 31 percent to 44 percent of snaps in one week is a back whose role is growing, and that is what you roster.

Breakout
Mike Washington Jr., RB, Raiders
9 carries, 43 yards on a season-high 23 snaps vs Buffalo in Week 6

Watch. Washington outgained starter Ashton Jeanty in Week 6, 43 yards on nine carries to 22 yards on 10.

Read moreShow less

Jeanty is averaging 3.2 yards a carry on the season, and the Raiders rank 30th in rushing at 79.2 yards a game. Washington is questionable for today against the Rams with foot and back injuries after missing Thursday and Friday practice, so check his status before you spend the add.

Breakout
Chig Okonkwo, TE, Commanders
7 catches on 7 targets, 69 yards vs San Francisco in Week 6

Stash. Okonkwo caught every target thrown his way on Monday night and has now stacked back-to-back productive games.

Read moreShow less

Washington is on bye this week, so this add costs you nothing but a bench spot for seven days. With Terry McLaurin out for the season, those intermediate targets have to go somewhere, and Monday night showed you where.

Schedule Watch: Bye Weeks and the Paris Window

Week 7 byes are Buffalo, Jacksonville, the Los Angeles Chargers and Washington. If your lineup leans on Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence or Justin Herbert, the coverage plays are above: Stroud and Murray are the streams, and Cooper is the receiver add who replaces a bye-week hole with real volume.

Look one week further, because your league mates will not. Week 8 byes are Houston, New Orleans, the New York Giants and San Francisco. That is Stroud, the Saints backfield and the 49ers offense gone the same week, plus a Giants team whose backfield just changed hands. Stash your Week 8 coverage now, while it is cheap, instead of bidding against the whole league on Tuesday.

The scheduling wrinkles are real this week. Week 7 opened Thursday night with Chicago beating New England 30-24, and today opened in Paris, where Pittsburgh and New Orleans are playing the first regular-season game in France at the Stade de France. The rest of today's slate runs from 1 PM ET to Sunday night, when Kansas City visits Seattle, and Dallas closes the week Monday night at Philadelphia.

Streaming Corner: Week 7

Quarterbacks: C.J. Stroud against the Giants, for the three-game run listed above. Kyler Murray against Indianapolis, for the rushing floor. Both are in the waiver list, and both play at 1 PM ET, so set them early.

Tight ends: Tyler Higbee at Las Vegas. Higbee has caught 24 of 29 targets for 246 yards this season, and with Davante Adams out six to 10 weeks and Terrance Ferguson still on injured reserve, he is the Rams' top pass-catching tight end for at least one more week. Michael Mayer against the Rams is the second play: 7 catches for 95 yards on nine targets against Buffalo in Week 6, with at least seven catches and 80 yards in two of his last three games. Chig Okonkwo is the stash, not the stream, with Washington on bye.

Defense: New York Jets against Miami. The Dolphins are still looking for their first win, and through five games Malik Willis has five fumbles and four interceptions while taking 14 sacks. The Jets' defense gives up the sixth-fewest yards per play in the league at 4.8. Cleveland at Tennessee is the second play: the Browns just held Baltimore to 10 points in Week 6. Dallas at Philadelphia on Monday night is the deep-league dart, with the Eagles coming off a 25-14 loss to Carolina.

Injury openings to know: Davante Adams is out six to 10 weeks with a hamstring injury, which leaves Tyler Higbee and Colby Parkinson as the Rams' middle-of-the-field options and keeps Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell on the monitor list. Terry McLaurin is out for the season with a knee injury, which is why Okonkwo and Treylon Burks are stashes through Washington's bye. Mike Evans left Monday night at halftime with an Achilles injury after 3 catches for 94 yards, so watch San Francisco's receiver room at Atlanta today. Mike Washington Jr. is questionable for today against the Rams with foot and back injuries after missing Thursday and Friday practice, though coach Klint Kubiak said he expects him to play. Puka Nacua is questionable with a calf injury after missing Friday practice and will work out before the Rams' game at Las Vegas. Rashod Bateman left Week 6 injured, which opens snaps for Ja'Kobi Lane in Baltimore. And Lamar Jackson could return for Baltimore against Cincinnati today, so check that status before you lock a Ravens stack.

Fantasy x Betting: The Nus Edge

Here is what nobody else does. When a player's role grows, the prop market is always late. The same research that tells you Omar Cooper Jr. just took over the Jets' target share and Bam Knight just outran the Cardinals' starter tells you their props are still priced like the old depth chart. Fantasy finds the role change first. Betting cashes it. This page and the Nus Board are reading the same tea leaves.
