I will say it plain, because kickoff does not wait for your waiver priority to reset. The best add in fantasy football this morning is a Pittsburgh rookie most of your league still thinks is a depth piece. His name is Germie Bernard and Week 5 already told you the story.

Bernard caught 6 of 9 targets for 80 yards in Pittsburgh's 34-22 win over Indianapolis, leading the Steelers in targets on the day. A rookie leading his team in targets is exactly the kind of role signal our Fantasy Football HQ page puts at the top of Waiver Wire Watch. He ran a route on 78.8 percent of dropbacks in that game. That is not a cameo. That is a job.

Now look at what happened to the room around him. Michael Pittman Jr. is on injured reserve with a foot injury. Roman Wilson was placed on injured reserve with a finger injury and Ben Skowronek is also ruled out for today at Tampa Bay. That leaves DK Metcalf at the top and Bernard as the clear No. 2 receiver for Aaron Rodgers, on a team whose quarterback has thrown three touchdown passes in three straight games.

The honest check is the drops. Bernard had issues with drops against Indianapolis and a rookie who drops the ball can lose snaps fast in this league. That is the risk and it is a real one. It is also the reason he is still available. Clean No. 2 receivers with a 25 percent target share in a single week do not sit on waivers in October unless there is a wart to point at.

Make the add today, before the Tampa Bay game turns last week's target line into next week's bidding war. And if you want the rest of the Week 6 picture before you spend the move, the full waiver list, the Week 5 breakouts and the streaming plays are all on the Fantasy Football HQ page.
